Loud shifts normal?

2011 Triumph Rocket III touring
Thanks in advance for all your help and advice. I just bought a 2011 Rocket III touring and find the shifting loud but solid. Is that a normal thing or should I be concerned?
 
I have a 2012 Touring. Do not recognize this. Just a decent click at shifting.
 
Hi my 2013 roadster is clunky I'm going to do an oil change in think ? Its mainly when downshifting !
 
They are clunky compared to a BMW or Honda
 
Hello Enduroxt and welcome from a displaced Texan in Virginia. I think you are good to go from the description you give. But to be sure, ride it up to Sterns Kentucky this weekend and let about 40 of us hear it in person.
