Looking for a small bag

There does not seem to be a good place to put a small bag on the new R3s. What have others done for something smallish. Tank bag is bigger than I am thinking, no-go on pillion or front forks that I can see, I just need a place to stow spare sunglasses, gum, etc. Right now I have a fanny pack strapped around the display, sitting behind windscreen, but looks a little gay (not that there is anything wrong with that!)

Actually, now having just actually tried, the bag seems to work fine on the forks

Triumph sold small leather bags for various models over the years. They do not have to be mounted where or as suggested and as they are small with easily used/modified mounting systems if they suit use them. You can google and scan virtually every years Accessory catalogs, get the product code, google it and be amazed how much old stock is still out there or at least you have a description of it.
I wont list the studded stuff!

You MAY find that as it bounces up and down or contacts front fender as the suspension moves that it will scratch and wear a mark on your fender. I know that happened on my '10 R3R.

The bag will scratch the fender. Don't leave it there. I guess you could cover the stock paint with film like they do fancy cars. I would tie it to the front of the sissy bar or wear a belt bag. I just lost a phone to the back pocket for not using the bag or a zipped pocket in the jacket.
