I had to go back and see what the title and OP was talking about after all that squirrel talk. The ultimate thread Jack, kudos guys.😅😅

All I have to add is, I’m sure I’ve ate nasty worse than squirrels. :ninja:
US thread jack, never............did you see that squirrel?
Back to things mechanical then;):roll::roll:

If any gravy comes out of the back of that critter I ain’t eating it.🤮

I have eaten rabbits being younger in Poland of course but to be honest that would be considered savage in the UK nowadays
And I'm genuinely interested in a squirrel since I would eat almost anything.
Have tried ostrich, an alligator and a kangaroo ( all in the UK so can't be sure they were real ;-( ) and would not mind to try a snake either
So no offence intended
I like Rabbit but squirrel is better…… except rabbit is a lot easier to skin

C'mon mate your the Bloody vet! You should get lots of opportunities for unusual animal meats! ;):roll::roll::roll::p
Is he a real squirrel hunter or just disposing of his kid's other rodent pets in this inflationary age?;)

Anatomy of a squirrel 101 - scapulars, rib cages, all de-fleshed there on the plate in front of you!
What do you want........fingerprints GEEZ! ;) 😛:roll::roll::roll:

Pete, at my age my kids don’t have squirrels for pets. They have their own kids 🤣
BTW, it’s easier to trap squirrel than hunt them. Yea I’m getting lazy 🙄

Pity your kids have grown up.
Plenty of lost opportunity for 'pet' rotation and their regular re-appearance as dinner. ;) :roll::roll::roll:
The gourmand in you has lost out on Marmots, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, all rodents like squirrels or rats by another name!

MMMMMMnnnnnnn! FURRY FUGU! ;) :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

Not much meat of the hamster haha
That is why it is handy if the kids have lots and don't even notice a few missing at dinner time. ;)

Guinea pigs work better and is how they became domesticated in the Andes and literally live underfoot as secure members of the household until dinner!
Heaven on a Stick!
