It's been awhile since I pulled mine off but I think there are just 3 bolts (or nuts) holding it on under the fender that also hold the brake light lens on. It's either a 10mm or an 8mm.

Yeah, got that far but bottled it as I didn't want to fcuk about with the rear light... So do you need to pop the lens off? :?
