Let the frustration begin!!!! grrrrr

Not sure how they overcome it as I do not know anyone. Maybe they just live with the code. I have 62,000 miles on one of my secondary TPS sensors and it has never failed. In fact the only secondary TPS problems I have read about are people who for some reason pull it and do not re-install it properly. This makes two that I am aware of.
:D :D

Ok. Here is what my secondary tps does. The volts wont change but I'm sure it's installed correctly based off the video.

Can anyone confirm?

Installing new primary tps now. Will report back soon.

Ok. Intreresting find. My new tps has a different number on it than my original.

Installed the new one. Got it dead on at .61 and .72.

LADIES AND GENTLEMENT, FOR THE THOUSANDS IN ATTENDANCE AND THE MILLIONS WATCHING AT HOME, I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE RETURN OF THE FIRE BREATHING MONSTER, THE BRITISH BULLDOZER, THE MASTER OF DISASTER, THE KING OF STING, THE ONE, THE ONLY, 2300CC TRIUMPH MOTHERFOOKING ROCKET!!!!!

Dear Lord what a battle! I thought USMC boot camp would be my hardest challenge in life (after marriage of course).

She is fixed, she is running like she should and I am happier than Michael Jackson at a childrens hospital!

All that pain and torture from a small primary TPS sensor that costs 134 bucks....I can only hope this thread will help somebody in the future!!!!

On a sidenote, if anybody has any enemies in the Rocket world I will keep my bad TPS in a bag for them to install...hehehe.

I wanted to thank all of you for you help! This was indeed one long and enduring process BUT I learned a lot and between me checking everything 6 times, balancing the TB's and TPS the bike is running so dam nicely now, so in the end it was all worth it of course!

I must admit I did beat the piss out of her for the last 20 minutes of the 45 minute ride. I had to punish the old twat for being naughty of course! And what a great smell after I rode it home and turned her off...that motul smells like a candy factory! Shifter is so smooth now too...Boy it feels good to be in bike heaven again! I will now dedicate a song to my big hot momma rocket....

I am very happy for you.
As you know by now, I recently went through a similar odyssey. Sorry for not being around to assist (I was out of the country on vacation), but you were in very capable hands!
Looks like someone else owes a few Mickey's Big Mouths to Warp0!
