Fixing the ignition switch costs nothing if you can do the work yourself. You will need to remove 2 tamper proof screws and replace them with regular metric replacements, and solder a wire or 2. However, the problem will return if you don't fix the issue which caused it.

LED bulbs which draw less power is another option, and a keyless ignition in addition to that is also an option.
