Anybody know the largest bottom outside diameter filter, for triple K&N's
And maybe a link to a pic that gives the height of the filters shown.
Please

I,m trying to match a set of these
http://www.rotaryart.uk.com/acatalog/Un ... _68mm.html
That's why i am looking for the max bottom diameter of the filters.
The part number i have is for the oval ones RU 2780 and the only measurements they give are the length and width of the base, and any pics of them that i can find they are set at an angle.
I am just hoping some one with the round filters can give me a part number from one of theirs so i can look it up and get the base diameter.
Thanks rch

Someone posted some pics in the last couple of weeks of some chromed up filters, the part number from one of those will give me diameter that i need...

Scotty are you looking for the diameter needed to go on the throttle body? If so that is an inside dia of 2.5 inches. Or do you want the maximum diameter of the filter to see if they will fit side by side? The throttlebodies are 4.5inches center to center, so that leaves you just under 4.5 inches max. I have the ovals so I can't help you with the part number.

Has anyone actually used 57mm flange filters, will they fit? A couple of people on other posts have mentioned them, but no one has said if they have fitted them.
I know the T/Bs are 61mm, i'm wondering if they will go on with a good talking to

That would be a pretty good stretch... 4mm in diameter is over 12mm around. I don't think that the rubber would stretch that much without some serious force. Just getting them to change shape can be a chore. I've got indivdual filters on my Daytona and the necks are kinda egg shaped. That was a challenge to get 'em to fit.

I'm not so sure, i've drawn two circles one on top of the other 57mm and 61mm and their don't seem to be much in it. K&N say you can go 2mm over the size they state sooooooooo??, trouble is if i order them and they don't fit £100...$200 down the drain
Will wait and see if anyone comes up with anything positive

Bad is right on, 12mm dif in circumference. You better buy some k&y jelly to go with the k&n filters.
