While walking my dog this evening I was thinking about the mileage question from earlier today. I realized that, based on how and when I use it, my bike is the equivalent of a camper for me. It mostly comes out for the long trips and big vacations. Made me chuckle.

Nope it's a Parker 2120 SC single 200 yam 4 stroke, strong heavy boat with a berth and pilot house.

Hello @mjp2 and welcome from VA. I have an extra 2 cents lying around and can offer them to you. I know we all have different issues with a family (I have had 2 wives and a total of 7 kids), but giving up riding is too hard for me. This R3T is my 28th ride over 35 years. Three of my boys ride today but all have had an early start on dirt bikes and it makes for a great family adventure, especially when you add in weekend camping trips to the mix.

I was in the Navy for 21 years and that helps make the family life tough all by itself. And that is also why I had so many bikes as I would sell my bikes before a deployment and buy something else when I returned. I have had several bikes that I wished I would have kept.


Your bike is a very low mile bike brother and I would say keeping it is the best idea (my 2014 has 31K miles). Your son is too young to ride with you now, but that won’t last very long. If at all possible, keep the bike…
