its official Triumph releases R3 Storm

I took a few photos on Friday when I took my bike in to have the rear brake master cylinder replaced under recall.
Demo bike + wet roads = good example of one of these bikes outside of the swanky showroom.......In the real world.

I like the two tone tank and the blacked out triple trees etc... but definitely not the black exhaust system.

Definitely not upgrading my 23 Carnival Red GT. Moreover I love the black/chrome contract all over the bike including the exhaust, thus I’m not a big fan of the matt black exhaust on the new, or the black only rims even if they are lighter.

Direct currency conversion - Here they retail for R415000 + R12000 for the paintwork at R18,73 to the dollar relating to just shy of $23000 excluding PDI and delivery/registration costs. So with a few extras you can essentially reach half a bar! When I purchased just over a year ago the price was around R350 000 not including the discounts, so the price ballooned shy of R100K ($5300)

The new power figures are similar to the output I get after loading an unrestricted tune (fuel economy dropped by 1km/l)

The bike to get at least for me is the GT but with mid mounted controls, love the handlebars and heated grips!

There is no differences between TFC tune and the regular bikes.
