Is there anyone in north Dallas area that works on Triumphs other than dealer?

Maybe Tex, I will lift the tank once again. The thing I hate about lifting the tank is the removing on the instrument cluster every time.

Have a go at checking your vent hoses by finding the bottom ends - probably near the starter? - and blow back through them - just by mouth (enjoy the petrol taste!). There should be no resistance to your blow job.....

I have found that the biggest pain with raising the tank is the rubber seal that goes around the instrument cluster. I wasted more time trying to get that to stay in place properly the first time than I did raising the tank. After the first time, I decided to tape it in place on the chrome cluster with some electrical tape before removing the instrument cluster. Now the on and off is a piece of cake. If this happens to be what is annoying you, give it a try.

Stripes, I went to alien site and it said no foreign bikes period, so I look elsewhere

My bike is a Triumph. It is there right now next to a 650 Bonneville chopper he is building from scratch for a customer. No you won't hear about or see anything metric unless you go inside. Yes, he may not agree to work on it because he loves to work almost exclusively on Milwaukee anchors. He put the tune in my bike.

I can't remember the dyno guy's name on Harry Hines.... R3Tex or Steele probably know as we three were there together a few months ago. He works on everything. He was working on a blown up 400hp turbo'd Kawasaki when we were there. Morris, what is his name?

Thanks for the info stripes. I thought that because he had to contact Nevel he didn't do the tunes. I may text him with my problem.

Bedifferent, I put some grease on seal and that helped a lot, if I could get to the 2 screws under the cluster I wouldn't have to take it off.

Nolton I have the one power-trip put on this site for Touring, a member installed it for me. I just want to check and see if it is still good. I don't have laptop or cable and don't have confidence in my ability to tune, I am not patient enough to learn new things.
