Is the TORS loud enough?

Hi. I live in South Africa and want a lot more sound out of my stock 2011 Roadster.

My 2 options is either the TORS or have a custom exhaust made. Price wise it will be about the same.

I want my bike to be really loud. Will the TORS be like that or should i go the custom route?

Agreed.

They have a nicer raw tone but only a small increase in volume over stock.

If you're looking for something to shake neighbours windows then TORS won't cut it.

That's a very relative question, but I'd say no from what you've described. Best to build your own for same price. If you've ever heard Vance and Hines straight shots and thought they were loud then the tors will not suit you.
Tors are deeper, but only a few decibels louder than stock.

Sounds like i'll have to go for the custom exhaust. Its just difficult spending money without knowing how it will sound at the end.
I'll go speak to a few places again end of the week and then decide what to do.

Try a solo megaphone off the header . . . bet that'll do you, if you stay with stock header.
The sound of my CES is BEST to my ears.
This here crappy video sound is much quieter than in person,

2 pipe TORs are NOT loud. 3 pipe TORs are loud.

The TORS are not much louder than stock but as the guys say a nice deep note and they do flow better, plus no Cats , the upside is Mr Plod doesn't give you a second look and if in one of those" safety checks" the RMS do on most bike gatherings they just wave you through as they appear to be stock silencers, works for me

I am also in SA. TOR pipes plus remove the cat - should be loud enough........

If you need more noise after that, then just gut the tors.
