Ice

Today was very bright, clear and you'd think it was in the 50's until you stepped outside. I believe it was the coldest day of our Kansas City winter with more on the way. I hopped in my old reliable 98 Olds mini van and started toward my morning hangout for coffee and crossword puzzle.

I looked up to my temperature indicator and saw ICE . I did a double take and sure enough it said ICE . I've never seen that before.....only a temperature reading either + or - . I pulled over and sat by the side of the road for a few seconds and it changed to 21+. Several seconds later, back to ICE . Anyone else witnessed this phenomenon or was I abducted by an alien mother ship and probed?

Knowing this bunch.... I probably shouldn't have left myself open with that last question!

The temp gauge in my F-150 does the same from about 36 degrees down.

Or maybe your car was wondering if you wanted some ice in your bloody mary?
