Lovely bit of kit, is it Desert Iron wood burl and birds eye damascus? Who is the maker?

I've got a slight 'edge' problem too, about a 1000 all up - slipjoints, folders, fixed blade, hatchets, commercial and custom, antique carvers, cutlery and 1840's on Russell Green River cutlery, work and hunting knives.

I've got you all covered at a BBQ.

Nice 'fighter' pattern

Jerry gave me four knives to take to the RAA run in Maggie Valley last fall. We took up a collection and let Glen pick one. At the end of the day I just couldn't force myself to turn the Bowie back in.

So far that is the only fighter he has ever made that I know of.
