Can't remember when I bought my first Rocket, a '06 Classic. I'd guesstimate 8 or 9 years ago. Has approximately 38,000 miles now and still runs great. Replaced the crappy ignition with a keyless system. The speedo/odometer stopped working a year or so ago and replaced with a GPS speedo/odometer that works fine. Owned an '08 Touring model for a few years but gave in to my wife's pleas to make more garage space for her stuff and sold it. Great bike, no problems. Wife has now lightened up on garage space since I bought her a Tuff Shed for her stuff. So, then I immediately jumped on a '15 Rocket Roadster ABS with only 8500 miles. Jury is still out on this bike because I am having an awful time adjusting to the tiny foot pegs and the toe only shifter. Despite adjusting shift lever out to the max I can't get my size 14 boots under the toe shifter. That results in only being able to force my boot toe end over to the right against the tiny shifter toe peg to force the shifter upward, very awkward. The low mileage, it's ABS, it's Corbin fairing, it's nice custom crossover pipe, etc. persuaded me to buy it for only $5K.....but man, the tiny foot pegs and toe only shifter really suck. Would be fine for a smaller and younger man but apparently I am too old, too fat and too **** big for the Roadster style.
