Help! convert foot pounds and Newton meters etc.

OK, sorry to be remedial but I am still trying to figure out the Tune Boy/ Power commander etc. Spent a few minutes with a local Dyno guy and he claims rather disappointing numbers for stock R3 and so forth, etc etc. Are the Aussies talking the same horsepower? I know it sounds stupid but I'm really confused by some of the numbers. Anybody out there know?

Have you gone back to using leeches yet Martin? All these Olivia Newton Meter Tonnes etc. make my head spin. But I use metrics at work every day. Seems that the Euros have the market on grape equipment. INCHES, KW instead of HP? I think not. I also use that nice little program that Gary so kindly posted.

or you can just multiply the newton meters by .74 and that gives you what you want in foot pounds force.

Just use google.......

in the search box type "convert xxxxxxxx to xxxxxxx"

and it will convert ANYTHING, use any figures and measurements you like. It can get as complicated as:
convert 30 miles per gallon to kilometers per litre

and it will spit out the results for you!!!!
