I found sweat pants block the heat better than jeans too so maybe you could wear some under your jeans if you don't wanna just wear sweat pants while riding

My bike hasn't shipped yet, and it's winter here, so I'm just planning for the spring riding season. So the heat in general isn't unbearable? My Yamaha Warror was air-cooled, and I only really noticed it when we were stopped in traffic in the summer.

About the same. I had a warrior before and stuck in traffic like going to the keys or returning you can feel it building up heat, but that is about it. I ride with motorcycle jeans, in Florida now, not an issue in the rocket. If something, I had more heat building in my back returning from the keys from the midday sun.... maybe I can heat wrap my neck next time...

... now if you are doing a naked ride, then by all means, maybe ceramic coating better option.

I appreciate the reply. That’s really helpful. Thanks! If you figure out how to wrap your neck let me know.

I had the manifold Cerakote plated and swapped the OEM shields for carbon fiber. It cuts down on the heat from the manifold. Here's what that looks like:

And mounted up with new gaskets:

It doesn't eliminate the heat off the manifold, just makes it tolerable.
