headlight upgrade?

I did 200 miles last night and realized the stock lamps suck.
Is there a different bulb that is brighter? I prefer the blue ones I think they are halon.

I use the following because the stock bulbs do suck.

H4 110/100W Xtreme White Plus Anti-Vibration PIAA Motorcycle Headlight Bulbs - 2 Pack

You can find them at bikerhighway.com for $72.24. Worth the price. About a 100% improvement over stock.

Have you had them in long? I used them in my Jeep and it smoked the wiring plug in connections [melted]. They pulled more amps than stock. :idea:

Had them since May, about 6500 mi riding since then, no problems... However, my dealer has seen headlight lens damage before wiring problems with hot bulbs in Rockets... So far, so good for me... GR3Wolf has also had these bulbs much longer than me with no probs...

Go to napa auto supplies for the 100w h4 it was about 5$ for the bulb here
