Header wrap question

If I wrap my headers under the heat shields, do you think I will have to alter my tune?

But if the exhaust gases escape more quickly, surely my dyno tune will not be right, or at least, as right as it was?

I have mine wrapped and I'm running the "striped ape" tune. I know that I am just a tad lean at idle...but other than that I haven't had a problem.

should not effect tune.. not any more then a hot or cold day does..

owl--reg. ran wrap on his jars prior to getting preds. so he would know.

Thanks guys - have a great tune in my bike right now, and didn't want to risk doing anything to upset it, but despite ceramic coating and heat shields, I'm frying my right leg in traffic.

Guess its cos I have the swept back curvy Preds with rearsets.
