!!! Hardware Required !!!

Hi

I am interested in remapping and tunnig my ECU on my current 06 R3. I am wondering what cables will I need to do this.

I have found a tuneboy cable on the internet but the cost is well over my budget. Another option I have heard of is the VAG FTDI cable that is much cheaper. Will the VAG FTDI need modifying to work on the R3

Is there any other hardware items I will need other than a PC and dedicated cable.

Just the TuneECU software which is free. But the cable ($15usd or so), laptop, software and some knowledge so you dont screw up the ECU and your all set!
