Guzzi California 1400

Had a Series II Le Mans for a brief period years ago , nice bike but ... parts were unavailable and through the roof expensive. Agree it's a nice looking bike , so is the Griso but my experience with Guzzi's would stop me having another one. Bloke i know had the Guzzi dealership in Brisbane for a couple of years , told me it was a nightmare getting parts ... so not much has changed over the years by the sound of it .

I really like the Moto Guzzis, always have.

My local pusher has one of the V7 Racers on the floor, and everytime I get close to it I can feel the checkbook trying to leave my pocket.

A Moto Guzzi California was about to be my very first motorcycle, and I'm glad I never did it. Back then, they were squeaky things.

I've ridden with some older (and a few newer) Guzzis, nice machines.

Have no first hand experience with Guzzi's but that is a nice looking bike and the specs sould promising. Would not mind riding one.

We trudge on.

Riding them is an enjoyable experience for sure. Took a new Griso for a two hour demo ride up the Black Spur in Victoria (Google it ;)) loved it... but owning one would be somewhat less enjoyable were anything to go wrong.

The guzzi shop at nerang had a ride day 3 months ago .i took several of them out for a ride to be honest they handled nicely braked well but power wise they just don't do it for me although the new 1400 looks like a bit of a weapon .

My Triumph dealer is 5 miles away and he also sells Guzzis. I'll take a look if and when they get one in. But, I'm guessing those cylinder heads might be a bit too close for a normal sized human.
