Great detailing polish...

Yep, we went a round or two on Pledge before. :) I'm sure it's not the worst thing to use as a finishing touch as long as you make sure to wash the bike first so you get grime and particles off first and don't scratch the **** out of the paint and cause massive swirl marks.

But the wax in it is very light, so it goes away in the first rain it encounters most likely.
OK the point is your bike needs to be cleaned everytime you ride with all the bugs etc. thats why I like Pledge it is a cleaner and doesnt scratch the finish you spray it on it lifts the dust and dirt bugs etc and you just wipe it off no scratches or damage to any finishes its super fast and easy to use and I use it so often the wax doesnt get washed off and the bikes always clean and polished and protected and it does not wash off in the rain use it on all my shields it acts like rainex and the water just runs off and it doesnt cause corrosion like all the bike cleaners and like I said I use it everytime I ride and the bike always looks new

Truth be told, I usually just gently wipe my bike down wth a damp cloth first to remove the surface dust. If you don't it doesn't matter what you use...Pledge or otherwise...you're just rubbing the grit into the finish of your bike. Damp rag first...Always.
A man with sense, use a damp cloth or the correct thing to do is hose the loose dirt grim off before you pledge/wax/polish or what ever you choose to do, wiping right over the dirt will and I say will scratch your tank maybe not visible at first but over time the scratches will show.

PLEDGE will loosen and lift any dust so that it wont scratch the surface Wiping with a damp cloth doesnt work as well and will scratch the surface

Well I guess. I do not live in a real variable climate. the road grim and bugs is enough to drive one crazy trying to keep a new bike looking new. I guess if you did not ride much lemon pledge would be a good deal. if all I did was talk the talk and not ride much it might be a good idea. Good old elbow grease and some real good wax seems to work out real good. Check out my post of the X. 16,000 miles and it shines. Calling you out again IMFASTTOO this is the third time. Really do not care how much you ride other bikes or how many important people you know, would like a straight answer . How many miles on your bike? :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky: DARE.
