I've had my black on black beast since the middle of August and it now has 4500+ miles on it. I removed the air intake "Y" from under my seat and cut my license plate bracket off just below the highest holes then tucked my plate up a little higher to show more tire other than that.. engine guard, highway pegs, passenger touring gel & short sissy bar & passenger boards.
I know that I need shocks, pipes, tuneboy....but first things first. I'm riding to work @ 50*F and home @ under 40*F. My leather jacket (lined with a fleece jacket) chaps, balaclava, snowmobile gloves & mad bomber hat serve me quite well until lately.
I hate windshields but I hate not riding even more. I want a quick on quick off no scars left on my bike type of widshield...HELP Does it exist?
Not parking it, not wrapping myself in electric blanket type clothing. I know that ther are others out there like myself. please come forward and shed a little light on this dismal picture... Thanks in advance.

Windvest it is... You're the only people in the world that can make me drop  $325-$365 for a piece of equipment that I never wanted in the first place. Seriously thankyou

MY hands got frost bite when I was younger, hands can't take the cold as much now I have the heated grips and they made a world of diff. to me.

I like my 16x16 Windvests, I have them on two bikes, R3 and VTX.

A friend has a Rifle solo shield which is very nice and costs half as much.

On a positive note I left work last night (shortly after midnight) everyone was scraping windshields or firing up their vehicles with the defrost on. Not I. Did have to turn the key off then on again didn't seem to want to jump to life with the first try. Thanks everyone I'll now be shopping.
