I got one from NCY when I scatched one while fitting a set of the rivco risers I was about to order the earlier top bracket which "The Scot" obiviously has



Ponters by now I thought you would have realised that our our Aussie distributers are just trying to rip us, I have a policy I ring the dealer get price then check with Jason at NCY in the states and save a bundle, occasionaly the part is actually as cheap but not often even when you allow for shipping which Jason is always carefull to keep to a minimun
also if you don't want to buy the earlier top clamp (which I think the risers were orginanlly designed to be used with there is another option, The 90 degree chrome bracket that fixes to the tank can be made to be hinged if you are interested let me know and I will take a picture or two, it is still a squeese but you can lift your tank

yeah after answering this tread this morning and I decided to go ahead and order the top clamp and the other Cup it is now on order ..geez now see what ya did I'm spending more money I will pm you the prices

What a joke!

Jason at NCY is great. Thanks for the contact. Turns out the cups are different than what is used on Roadster!

Roadster requires complete assembly which is 700ish US compared to 70ish for just cups.

Now can anyone here tell me if they can think of a way of getting the cups off a classic to work on my roadster. Are they actually different. If anyone knows I'd be greatful for some info.

When I had a Bonnie everybody in that forum was replacing the plastic cups with steel cups from a Walmart thermos.

Well, now that you mention it,
I was gonna do some,
but what I "want" and what's doable,
is usually 2 different things.
I'm wanting to have them like the 73 Hurricane shields.
Think that'd look pretty trick.
Or i can run em naked for awhile,
not a big fan of wrapping them,
that's a little too "ol skool" for my taste,
but hey, whatever works, I'm all for it.
YeeHaw, I feel pretty darn good about em and ain't even seen em yet.
Them ones you posted pics of are pretty sweet themselves.
Not exactly what I'm wanting, 3 individual all the way,
but different tastes bring different ideas to the forefront,
and IF I didn't already know what I was after,
those would be real high on my list of wants.

Sam is the silencer on those headers something u made or can it be purchased from somewhere else ?

thinking i may switch to a single silencer up to the headers u made me at some stage not sure yet though

Sam uses SuperTrap muffler as a rule but he may correct me on that
