I finally got my TourMaster electric gloves (best 157 bucks I ever spent by the way) and needed to power them up. I hunted around for some good quality outlets and finally decided on these.

I installed them without the faceplate, one below the seat on the left which is where I plug in the gloves (and the battery tender) , and another up on the right side of the forks for the GPS.

So as not to have multiple wires hooked up to the positive terminal I also installed a small fuse block under the right side cover. Currently supplying power to the Stebel Horn and the two outlets, with several spares.

Also, see that wire tie around the seat release? Put one on there. It will save you many hours of fishing around with a coat hanger to get your seat off when the relaease wire pops out of holder. You will wish you had.

Have a great day. The sun is out and will be 65 Today is Seattle so I am headed up to Ballard to Mike's Chili Parlor! I might stop and give some food to the Bishop's homeless kids on the way.

Westbay

I picked the fuse block up at the local Westbay/NAPA autoparts store. I could get you the part number next time by if you like since I threw the package away already. I mounted it to a piece of aluminum and then to the end of the bracket that holds the ECU. It all fits nicely.

I can look at Napa. I have thaught of doing a fuse block but most
of the ones I',ve found are too bulky and I'm running out of room.
Stebil compressor is under left panel and not much room under right.
Thanks for the post.

It is coincidental that you posted this Mitch. I have one of the fuse blocks on my VStrom and will be installing one on the Rocket.

Not a whole lot of space

Mike,

Not a whole lot of space available to keep it protected. This worked out pretty well though.

Nice write up Mitch. I put mine in the empty air box. Lots of room in there, well mine anyway.
