I reckon it's £10 every 100 miles to run yer Rocket with the set up you got. That's until you get used to it then it'll cost you more :).

Costs about that for your rear tyre too. The last Metz I used cost me more than 8.8c per km or $8.80 per 100km. Avon about 6.5c/km and Bridgestone looking likely to be about 50c/km. These are not cheap bikes to run..... but still outstanding value. :D

Cheers, for your advice regarding fuel consumption
And some good suggestions regarding the setup of the bike,
Maybe there are options I may take on board. I keep you lot updated what I do.
£1.40 per litre at our local fuel station. I wonder what they pay in the states.

In Wisconsin USA today 93 octane was $3.98.9 per us gallon. Fuel speculation for the summer months here is going to be $5 per us gallon. I do agree that is not as much as it is in the UK. I hope your peers told you not only is this site a wealth of info, but full of sassy ribbing! Welcome to the site!

Cheers benelli,
bit slow on the up take regarding the ribbing.
Our taxes over in UK on petrol are very high the government take
3/4 in taxes on every gallon of fuel, and there allot of People over here
Sick of it especially truckers and people that use there vehicles for living .
I keep you updated what I do to bike.
Thanks for welcome.

Best mileage figures I can give is based on not cruising the highway over 110kph, as blind Freddy knows when you open a rocket up you can't be concerned about fuel economy.

Best 17.8kml that's about 5.6 litres per 100km (428km per tank) - Average 14.5kml that's about 7litres per 100km (342km per tank)- Worst 183kms to 24litres, gotta say loved the ride, full throttle and don't back off until your empty
