Fuel tank distance

For those who can metric in their head, Mitzzy's saying 186 miles or 124 miles, which falls right around normal for a stock R3, and is quite impressive given his list of mods

It's a 6.3 gallon tank. This is from an American website. Mine is in kilometers. I usually get to 200 km before I fill up. I don't wanna suck up the crap in the bottom of the tank. Once, My fule warning light came on with over 65 km left to travel still showing on the clock. The book says use 91 octane..

The most I've pumped in with the engine still running is 6.2 US gallons. I've never run out dry. The most miles on a fill up I've ridden was 246. That fill up took 5.5.

My '09 will get 6.1 usable gallons out of a full tank. I know this because the engine ran out of gas somewhere in west Texas when I kicked off the cruise control to exit for fuel. Depending on how I am riding that is anywhere from 130 to 220 miles. No idea about the '13 roadster as I've never run it out of fuel

Had my R3 three weeks now only used it round town as yet while doing some mods.Any way anybody can give me some feed back on fuel compsumtion ie tank capacity .Mpg and what sort of distance you get on motorway .cos so far why i expected it to be heavy on the old nectar it more scary tham wen the Wife goes on JD at a rally

I log all my fuel and ride two up and after 3500,klm on a R3t, my figures are: 15.8KLm per Ltr (6.4 L/100klm) or 44.6 MPG, the estimated range is 350klm

Mine varies quite a bit depending on where and how I am riding, but I usually get somewhere in the region of 2-300 from a tank.

On one trip I took last year I gassed up and drove over 350 kms home without stopping. The fuel indicator was reading "0 kms remaining" for the last 30 kms but when I gassed her up she took just under 20 liters of fuel. I'm guessing that left me with around 4 liters left. Good reference point.....

I get about 200 hwy. Per tank

On my last ride 320km, on the fill it took 21.7litres, 15km to the litre. All highway cruising at 100kph to 120kph.
I think the tank dead empty will take 24 litres.
