Front Tire Choices

So, pulling up this thread. Is this the consensus for a good tire combo? Bridgestone Exedra Max Cruiser/Touring Tire 240/55R16 86V Rear Radial Tubeless - Parts Giant Michelin Road 6 Tire 150/70ZR-17 69W Rear - Parts Giant On the note of quicker handling, Has anyone pushed their forks up a bit in the triples? Worked well for me on other bikes

Me thinks this would further reduce ground clearance and acceptable handling, IMHO.
