Looking for rear Avon tire

I’ve run my back one with as low as 26lbs at the drag-strip. No slippage that I could detect.

Thanks for the feedback. I also ride faster than most riding it as a sport bike(changed the GT pegs to R for this reason). I was taken by the style at first and then fell in love when test riding the first time. Because of my riding style, I was concerned by the negative reviews of the CruiseTech.
I went ahead and found a rear Metzler Marathon 888 on ebay. Hope it's not a scam..... :-(
My front Avon is good for awhile, so didn't try to find one now. Understand not good mixing brands, etc. I was planning to pickup a front 888 later this summer, but didn't check to see if they've been discontinued or not. My bad. I've looked and don't see any. Argh
Does anybody know if the 888's have been officially discontinued? I've looked on the Metz website and don't see them, so I guess that means they're discontinued.
With my 2022 GT having "cornering traction control" I don't want to start throwing different sizes on the front/back to change the geometry.
I did not expect to face the challenges in getting a replacement tire for this thing.....

Guys,
I need a rear tire for my 2022 GT and surprised I'm not able to find the original Avon Cobra 240/50/16......
Everything 'out of stock'........
I've spent an hour on the internet looking and can only find them in Italy for $550+(?) on ebay. Called my local Triumph dealer
and all they could say is "good luck". They said their wholesale source told them not available for the remainder of the season(?).
Does anybody know where I could pick one up (black market)?
The only alternative is the Metzeler CruiseTec. I've been told they're on the lower end of their offering (?).

Anybody know where I can pickup an Avon?

Look n a company calle sticky stuff they have the Avon rear tyres....

Went on Revzilla and found the front and rear Avon Chromes as you say:
Front $338 shipping included
Rear $454 shipping included

For what it's worth.......I paid the same price for the Metzeler Marathon 888 on Ebay (shipping included) for $455. I don't think they make the 888 anymore.
Anyway, the one I got was new/old stock from 3 years(?) ago. Have ridden aggressively on it now for a month with no regrets. Great tire with longevity.

Those prices are like Crazy Eddie's. I guess not only the Exedras went up.

The Exedras are great ..I had them on my VMax...they were a little squirelly in the rain. The Cobras performed very well in an 8 hour downpour on my way down from upstate ...a great rain tire.
