Does anyone know the size for axle nut?
I have never taken off the front wheel of a bike, and cannot find instructions for the rocket itself, so I'm going off a video of a old roadster rocket, do you need to remove the brakes as well?

i would guess it at 3/4 aka 19 mm
because that is what my old rocket is.
probably come off with out removing the brakes but i think you will have to remove brakes to put it ack on

Found in the service manual that the brakes do have to come off, but it literally just lists the torque for the bolts, not sizes.

I found it easier to remove the front fender instead of the brake calipers. With the fender removed the wheel slides right out.
I absolutely disagree with you...if you leave the calipers in place it's a real pain to reassemble the wheel while aiming to slide the discs between the pads...unscrewing the calipers is much simpler and faster.

Maybe he doesn't have pads.😄
