Funny you mention that. When I signed for my R3 on the way home stopped in a local M/C shop there on rack was a brand new silver/black joe rocket jacket With rocket patches all over. As the price 100 paid the man and left with a smile on my face,
I received a brand new Triumph summer jacket a couple of years back when I complained to Triumph about a situation that occurred at a dealership when I was attempting to by a new T-100 Bonneville. The jacket was sent as a peace offering of sorts, but the cut was way to tight. I gave it to a to a kid who worked for me at the time. He had never sat on a motorcycle in his life, or been laid either. He said he hoped the jacket would help remedy that problem. I don't think it worked. I do have an old worn brown leather jacket that the lining is completely shot and I have had the zipper replaced at least twice. I wear it every time I ride in cool weather. It is at least 20 years old and was a present from my wife. I am still very comfortable with them both.
Hey Phatdad,
I am one of those 9 Rockets registered in Maine. I'm in southern ME (Kittery). I've only seen 2 or 3 Rockets in my area. It definitely gets a lot of attention whereever I go though.
Pretty much nonbranded here. Never owned a Hardly so never bought anything with that brand. Even though I like a lot of the styles they have. And just never liked the Triumph branded jackets. Now if they come up with something to match my bike.....
