First time Exedra Max rear tyre

I am onto my third rear tyre and it's a 55 Bridgestone Exedra Max, what is the ideal tyre pressure, I have been running 36psi in the front and 44 psi in the rear and noticed the rear Metz seems to be wearing flat on the crown of the tyre, has the pressure been to low.

I run 40 front and 42 rear, I have the Exceedra Max rear also

If wearing flat on the crown usually indicates to high a pressure, but it depends on how many miles you are getting remember mc tyres are designed to run on the crown

The manual says 34 F and 42 R, when I had the new Metz fitted front and rear 10000km ago the tyre guy said to run 2 psi more than recommended.

I've found that anything much under 38 front will cause cupping of the Metz.

Rear I'm a firm believer in set by feeling, set her to 42, ride, try 38, ride, try 46. Pick your favorite feeling.

I routinely run 2-3 PSI more than what is stated on the tire. This keeps the area on either side of the Max from premature wear.

i am running my rear excedra at 30 psi (i weigh 160) i have not got a lot of miles but so far so good.
