Fantastic First day back with my R3R

Thanks Nev!! I'll keep an eye on it. So far good to 120mph, will work up slowly to test her out to see if and where it happens.

Stayed put at 140+ today, me thinks it has something to do with how it's installed. The fender can be tensioned in two directions depending how you install it.

The obvious bolt in method would spread the fender out a little, creating downward pressure, I used multiple black aluminum washers to give a squeeze instead of a spread to the fender. My original intent was to avoid scratching the carbon, but, the install may have benefitted it's strength too, I'll snap some close ups tomorrow when it's light out.

Love the shape of that front fender. Personally I'd paint it to match the bike, but that's just me. I have a Bestem CF one on my Tiger 800XC, amazing how strong, stiff and light CF is. Hard to imagine it deflecting significantly under wind load, but I guess it's possible, especially if it's really thin.

There is an easy way to make it epicly strong, just need to find out what type of resin they use, it's almost certainly epoxy but could be vinyl ester. A .5 cm thick strip of foam and one layer of either E-glass or CF to trap the foam would make it incredibly rigid.

Not super worried about it at the moment, but if you need strong, that's the best route to go.
