Bull has one tuff pipe I seen it before it hit the road and after it road for while in one of Leigh's saddle bags on his Valkarie then it went right back on his bike thats a pretty tuff exhaust can
Yea and it was submerged in ice to keep it cool... and it sports an air horn bolt to keep it faithful to his bike... and rocket3 riders on their game watching for it to depart and fly over the pavement...
I recently went down on my R3 2007 Classic. Among other things damaged, my Jardine exhaust was damaged. The bike has the Carpenter full kit installed and so i need free flowing exhausts. Jardine is no longer producing the system so I need a replacement system. The TORS are no longer available from Triumph for my model year. The Zard full system is very expensive and I just cannot deal with the look of the "Snake" headers.
Is the Carpenter exhaust system the only alternative or do you all have some good alternatives? I've searched the web but cannot find a suitable system.
Thanks for any help
Mabey he's like me not real good on the computer, probably too busy making exhaust pipes. The most information you'll get on CES pipes short of sending Trev an email or ringing him is as been said before. Have a look at the thread rocket science Ozrider put up a link back a page or 2 on this thread.
?????????????
You already asked that same question a few posts back and got the answer. He doesn't make them on his web site. He makes them in his workshop and has them for sale NOW. If you know how to send an email or use a phone, contact him.
Oh dear, I'm sorry; was I being testy? Maybe because I was being tested. Not sure how much more clearly it could have been put to you but I do apologise for not spelling out for you - again. If you'd be so kind as to review the thread you were directed to you'd find ample information there, including the fact that he's only just started making them and, as Bruce says, he's been pretty busy keeping up with the orders he's got. Spoon feeding over.

NOT yours but if your tuning for max power in the 3k range as you said then your not going to compete with a Rocket thats tuned and running an exhaust thats made for higher rpm
In case there is anyone out there still considering running shorties take it from me...they look cool but suck in every other department...performance, sound...everything
So...I am getting the strong impression that the shorties from Reband are not good and I should go with the CES system. My experience with ceramic coatings over steel is that rust eventually comes through and maintenance is a PIA. Had them on my Boss hoss and was constantly needing to buff off the rust. CES only offers the coated headers but no chrome.
Reband and CES are both headers. The reference to shorties is what attaches to the header. They're a replacement for the stock mufflers.
If the ceramic coating on my CES headers goes off I have several options, including re coating, wrapping or polishing. Not something I'm too worried about just now.

I understand. I have been in contact with both Reband and CES. I'm only trying to decide between them. The full system from Reband with the short muffler is what I was looking at vs. the CES full system. Sorry for the ignorance. Just searching for opinions about which is a better choice. I'm looking for a full system and didn't realize the reference to shorties meant using the the shorties you link here with the stock headers. Thank you for the spoon feeding and any input about these choices is appreciated.
