Euro bikes out riding

How would a 14r with ram air, viking exhaust and a tune from hanso do against a stock 2013 "speed triple r' do?
Buddy made a statement that a rocket might be almost has fast as his triple. We will test next spring
Depends if it's a straight line or twisty.

Sadly that is the model BM that Blastedbones came to grief on during a regular Sunday ride with his mates.
Way too easy to outdo your own skills and the street road conditions with all that track orientated performance at your disposal.

@ruzzle has just corrected me it was a BMW R1-M full of whizz bang electrotrickery.

That Carpenterized monster of steel's will bury the 1000RR in a straight line a long, long way off the line. The Beemer might start to reel him in about 1/4 of a mile down the road when it gets into its power band at 10-12,000+ RPM, but, by then it's game, set and match over for the hypersonic Rocket Captain.

Truth is, me and another member here have been thrashing a mutual friend of ours (a former racer) and his beautiful BMW 1000RR for years, especially in the twisties where he just cannot nearlyget into the meat of his powerband and we always leave him in our mirrors given the slightest bit of straightaways 'tween the turns.;)

I took him off a light for about 1/8 of a mile with my stock Classic. But when he passed me he was flying.
