Is anybody running EBC "HH" pads on the rear of their R3 ? I was wondering with the added stopping power if they would be more inclined to lock up ?

I have them on mine and to tell you the truth they feel the same as the OEM pads. I was hoping less petal travel to achieve the same braking as the OEM but seems exactly the same.

does not matter what pads you put in the rear if you are capable of modulating the pedal force , any pads will do it is your foot that has to be the regulator but since rear brake are as useful as tits on a nun in general i think it is a moot point ..unless you can feel the point where lock up the rear is imminent
I never personally found a way to sense it so I never use the rear ,
fact and many youtube video by expert riders demonstrate that stopping distance is not improved by using rear brakes
I stand corrected I use the rear brake in turns to change my line if needed .
ok I am ready for the debate now....

I have ABS on the R3R, can't really lock the rear......well, only very slightly.
Sorry Fred, can't comment on those pads as I am still on originals.

Just ordered mine from Flip...I'll let you know in about a month if I can feel any difference.:D I do use my rear brake quite a bit (always supplementary to the front though) and like Duke I use it quite a bit in the turns for line changes...maybe that's why it wore faster than the front actually...don't think they were meant to be used while the throttle is rolling heavily
