I ordered the kit last Sunday and it arrived today from Nagano, Japan. That's pretty quick. I opened the box, it scared the hell out of me, closed the box and will get to it one day.

Actually, I am preparing to depart on a trip so will get at it upon my return. It looks to be the right one but there sure are a lot of little do-dads in there. :sad: I've read and saved all of the posts on installation so hopefully won't melt my wiring harness.
 
It's actually a piece of cake. You'll see. Sort of like the time you first dove into the water; off of a high diving board. You can do it....! ;-)
 
Hey Mike. Make sure you disconnect the battery. Remember your adjusting the clock episode a few years back,when you blew your gaskit.
 
Not to worry, we'll walk you through it step by step. Once you recognize the parts/piences and how they work you'll have a Homer Moment (Duoh!!).

How dare you recall that Dog. :lol: Actually I was changing a bulb and found out just what a goat rope that can be. I believe I remarked at the time that whoever designed those instrument cases should be horse whipped or something along that line.

Upon my return I'll set it up and will shout for help if/when I get, well, perplexed.
