Dynojet PC5

It seems the auto tune does exactly that and adjusts the air fuel ratio while riding .
Wouldnt this alter all the hard work and money put in on the dyno?
not sure if i should install autotune or not  but i guess the dynojet fella at powerhouse will have all the answers when i get there.
he is a dynojet dealer also so its all being purchased through the bloke doing the dyno.

just a little worried the Auto tune will undo the dyno results
might have to suss that out before they install it might be better to just have the pcv alone

I guess the autotune just tweaks the map loaded into the pcv weather it is canned or custom dyno
that would make sense i guess.

sorry just typing out load  :D

This is the way I looked at it. You do the dyno and get the best performance map for your bike at that snapshot in time and the dyno generates the best AFR's for that same snapshot. You go pick up your bike and ride out and it rains or you go in the hills. The autotune then adapts the fuel to meet the AFRs achieved at the dyno tune based on the fact barometric pressure has changed or the air is a bit denser cos the temp dropped and its raining. So I guess I'm trying to say that the autotune works to constantly achieve the AFR's from the dyno and adjusts fuel to within the % you allocate to it.

The other side of it is racing dudes who will manually adapt the autotune AFR's on a racetrack in order to achieve the best power in certain bands to adapt to various conditions / bends etc on the race track

At least thats my understanding :p

Ok so just found this too on the PC site:

Once installed, the Auto Tune kit monitors the fuel mixture (by installing the included Wide Band O2 sensor in the exhaust). It then sends this information to the Power Commander V and automatically corrects it while you ride. Each map that we offer has preset Air/Fuel ratio values included that we find to be the best overall settings. This lets you simply plug in the unit and let it do the work.

Ah ok that would make sense I feel better about it now thanks for that mate. Be sure to post your dyno results when your done mate and I'll do the same

:D:D:D:D:DTHE HEADERS ARE HERE :D:D:D:D:D
Thanks Sam they look GREAT
i have to go to work now but i will fit them tonight and take pics in the morning.
dyno and pcv on the 28th i will post results

Bet you're jumping out of your skin! I did read somewhere - can't quite recall where   - that they probably work better on a Claret (can't say Red) bike than a black one. If you're concerned at all about that I'm happy to try them out for you. :D

Looking forward to the pics, mate. Don't rush it tho.
