Hey guys, I just picked up my new R3R last week and already I've gotten started on modding it. One thing I hate like a lot of others is the Mickey Mouse mirrors !! I'm going to order some Triumph Oval mirrors and I was wondering if anyone has installed them hanging from the bars, like some HD bikes ?? is there clearance issues etc ?

probably hit the tank unless you are going to run T Bars

You'd need to be running pretty tall apes. Check out this member's bike. Even he has his mirrors above the bars.

The Big mirrors are a bit unsightly. I don't think there is enough tank clearance. I have seen a lot of the cafe and street fighter crowd run some little mirrors that mount on the end of the grip. That may be something to look into.

Modify (turn down in a lathe) your bar-ends and you can run Triumph bar-end mirrors. Looks good and hardly anyone else bothered to do it. Ro6ert has though.
