Has anyone cut down the tall sissy bar?

Pic of short and long together - there is a difference of 58mm in overall height, but the bottom legs are the same length - So you WILL find some trouble in cutting a long one down to a short one. NO I will not be selling my short sissy bar.

Seeing the tall and short side by side makes it totally clear. Not sure if I'm going like the look of tall sissy bar or not. May just have to order the short too.

Is it really only a 2.2 inch difference in height?

Worth cutting 2 1/2 inches off ? .. really none of the 'things' I've changed around or modified on my RIII were actually 'worth it' .. I have powder coated just about everything , painted what was left .. shortened this and tweaked just about everything else .. waste of f#ckin time now that I think about it .. I'm an idiot I guess .. hahahaha

Thing is I sit down the shed on a milk crate and just love looking at my Rocket .. that's 5 years after I bought it .. never had a bike that long without lusting after something else
