Historically the old Harley engines were known to sweat and even my VROD engine sweats a little oil, however nothing like what I am seeing on my R3 engine, both pictures are taken underneath the engine at the rear wheel. Is this normal? Or did the service tech just do a bad job of cleaning?
I haven't noticed on mine, but I'll check and see shortly. I live in a super dry area so maybe that helps. My oil levels are the same as when I got the bike though. It has been surprisingly non-leaky in every way so far.
If the gasket is put on dry and correct no sweat or little ,if grease was used to hold in place while cover is attached then ive seem sweat, not leaking but wet, sparky taught me that
