Digital speedometer

Gents,
I did research and thinking. It’s were I am:
1- I found I cheap speedo, but with led light and with a lot in it. They said rpm can be set for two or four cylinders... I guess few features will not work properly. But I like it...!
2- Mcv-7000 Dakota, the one you referred me. One of the best on the market, but i’m not in love with it...
3- Koso, a few on the market can do the job. Around 200 $. Respectable.
4- iPhone speed tracker pro. I buy it already (5$). That will be my first test.
5- RPMitUP. Seems to be the app the most complete. But in the same time they talk about some stuff i’m not sure about for Harley...

Those are my options for now.
My next ride, when I come back of work, will be Tuesday.

I forgot to ask what is wrong with the triumph gauges did one of yours finally fail. That happen more ofter the older the real Rocket gets.

They still works perfect .
But I clean the bike often and I begin to see some moisture below the glass.
What I have in mind for now is to keep them ( I will not loose my odometer 30 000 km) . And try iPhone app. I already use it for navigation map. Then it’s not a big change for now. If i’m a happy camper like that, I may use a second iphone to completely replace the gauges...!

OK - here is a little thing to THINK ABOUT.

VERY (AND I DO MEAN VERY) CAREFULLY drill a small hole in the white plastic of the speedo/tacho to allow any moisture to escape. You can find GoreTex breathers to cover the hole. Vapour can escape - water can't get in.

Or - like me - stop cleaning the **** thing.
