Dealer reinstalled rediator cocked to right

my insurance companie let me pick, but they also offred to reccomend a dealer, most good insurance companies will handle all the post crash tweaks..

also they may have done final adjustments on the side stand ( common mistake)

the radiator does move easily to adjust it...

Sorry to hear about your crash :-( Glad you are on your feet and looking to ride again. I know a lot of folks aren't able to muster the courage to go back out. Totally understandable.

I'm paranoid about riding these days because after almost 20 years ... I still have not gone down ... knock on wood, throw salt over shoulder, etc., etc. I'm pretty sure it's my turn :? :?

As for the Radiator, I totally agree with the other posters. Take it back, make them fix it right. However, it it is too big of a pain in the ass, which it always is dropping a bike off, then I'd recommend total removal of the shroud and radiator, and then install it fresh, looking at alignment, brackets, and what not as you go. I've had mine off. It's very easy to remove and re-install.

TeeeDee look at you lower mounts particularlly the one on the right below

Note the round pin they could have missed it when the put it together.
You should be able to see it thru here.

if they missed her you should be able to wiggle the lower corner of the radiator shifter side. If they did you should be able to take the bolt off the other side maybe the radiator shroud will help you get at the bolt easier.
I missed mine before it is easy to do.
Otherwise they could have bent one of these lower brackets which are quite easy to bend in and out while its on the bike.

Thanks warp, that's what I was looking for. That could make the left side sit forward more than the right. I know I should take it back, but I don't want *******s touching it a second time when the fix is probably this simple. If it's more than a bent or missed bracket, I'll take her back. They had it for 3 months! I've been on her 3 or 4 times so far. I put the D&D's on a few weeks ago and they are LOUD. I love it. Too **** cold to ride now, tho.

My rad was fitted exactly like that from new (one of the mounting pegs not lined up) and bolted down tight. I discovered it when the radiator started to leak from one of the seams due it being twisted. It was replaced under warranty.

Watch out.

I crashed my R3 a couple years ago. I fixed it up with new parts then noticed the crooked radiator. I just grabbed it and moved it straight. It flexes quite a bit in the mounts which bend easily.

It has stayed straight even since with no problems.
