Cyclone on its way.

Sitting here at home the work has already dried up because of the rain. Supposed to cross the coast about Yepoon just before daylight in the morning and make it's way down to about ByronBay tomorrow dumping 300 to 400ml of rain before heading out to sea. Saturday supposed to be clearing showers. Hope their right got Peck's memorial ride on this weekend. Warwick, GlennInnes down into Grafton for the night. Then home through Woodenbong Sunday. If this cyclone is still about It'll take a bit of the fun out of it. Floods might even stop us.

They were just saying winds up to 260 kph are expected .up the coast a bit ,hopefully the media is just getting carried away .

Just got a text from a mate warning everyone not to sook it on Saturday so it looks like I'm going cyclone or not.

Upgraded to category 5 overnight, still hasn't crossed the coast. Bucketing down here as I'm getting ready to go to work. Looks like a fun day driving in this.
