Could they of done this with the Rocket?

Jack:

Again, not my 'cup-o-tea'. If I was going to go the 'Super Motard' route I'd opt for a KTM Superduke. Neither of those bikes (without different tires or suspension modifications) has any capabilities in a moderate off road situation. They are both street bikes in a catchy niche market. I already have 2 street bikes though I imagine I could use the Bonnie and the hack off road as offroading hacks is quite popular so long as the trees aren't too close together......

There is a guy in the USCA who takes KLR's and builds a tube framed hack and competes quite sucessfully off road with them. Hacks are quite the thing for fast fireroading. They combine the handling of a buggy with the manuverability of a bike.

I'd like one. I could stink up the neighborhood but they aren't for sale. Seems as though Hayes is too commited to the DOD to do any domestic production.

Jamie: It has a British engine and it's ugly, just like I like 'em.

Flip,

If stinking up the neigborhood appeals to you check out what this guy has done

He has converted a old Beemer to run on 65c/gallon Bio-Diesel, you'll have the place smelling like a greasy spoon in no time!

See you soon

Tony
