Dr D, the "Arrow" mufflers ... are covers.

As you can see in the diagram below, number 9 is the box,.
Numbers 10, 11 & 12 are the covers.
The TFC has Carbon Fiber "Arrow" branded covers.

I thought I read some where that the TFC has different valves (Titanium ?) and is a higher spec Engine.
This in itself would have an effect on the sound of the Exhaust.

Well darn. I’ve been mistaken again. I feel a bit mislead by Truimph. The valves are different. I wonder about the “different “ tune and the what and why of that?

@Dr.D , the TFC was designed primarily to compliment a wide variety of boots !

As far as i can see that site only list parts for the R and GT, so maybe wrong to assume TFC parts are the same as they're not listed specifically.
(I am looking at # TRIUMPH - Online Genuine Spare Parts Catalog, if you have your info from another source i apologize)

Thats the point. From what my dealer told me, he still waits for the official part list for the TFC... there are other owners that want to "optimize" their R...

Interesting, I might still be correct believing the mufflers are different.
