Standard Bore
Hi All,Decided to put transparent red hel lines on my classic back & front, dropping to 2 lines on the front & doing away with the splitter, gold HH pads all round & DOT 5 fluid replacement.I done this years ago on my old zx12, & a busa before that, & it improved braking loads.
All connected up, the back was fine & done bleeding in 15 min with a good brake. The fronts are a pain though, they have got fluid in both lines coming out fine a the nipples (using a sealey vacum bleeder).....but still no feeling of pressure at the lever. I know i pushed the pistons back in a bit, to get the new pads in, & this is prob what`s happening. As i finished in the garage earlier, i tied the lever back to the throttle grip overnight to see if this would help any.
Any advice, or do i just have to keep pumping the brake, & keep bleeding the system?.
Cheers & Thanks in advance..... Kev
P.S The hel lines look great!!............ be even better when the brakes work too!!
