Thanks fellas. Only real concern i have is that Catherine told the wife of the Chapter President of the local crew here i was going into hospital. Phone call from him the other night informing me they have arranged for an inflaitable woman dressed in a nurses uniform to delivered to my ward They were mumbling and giggling about a tranny stripper to 'bouy my spirits '... Bit of knee carpentary by the surgeon is the least of my worries !!!

Laying on my hospital bed right now mate. Just drilled the surgeon ... he's to be in bed by 10pm and there's no gettin on the p!ss tonight . Im first cab off the rank .. surgery at 7.30 tomorrow morning.

Dennis, for what it's worth, these are the type of boards I'd want if was getting any. They even look faster! Be gentle with that brake line - one kink and, well, you know....

TC, good luck with the surgery, mate. My mum had both done at the same time and was up and about in no time so you should be OK.

Dennis don't stress about straightening the brake line it is reasonably soft material so you do not need to be heavy handed. You only have to straighten it a tiny bit I think you would have to be a butcher to Kink it (Richard) I njust made sure that I straightened it while makeing sure that it would not come into contact with any thing else to avoid rubbing and it was a piece of cake. I fitted the rails first and just gently pulled the bends a it to straighten it

Tried to purchase the Classic floorboard kit A9758081 over the past couple of days and been told Triumph no longer offer this kit and can only now supply the standard floorboard kit A9758085.

I really wanted the classic kit as they are lower and on less of an angle.

Excellent , you didn't muck around fitting them hope you're happy with them mate.... Ditched the crutches and been onto the bloke that's replacing the zipper on my leather jacket. Another week and i reckon and i'll be right to jump on the bike.
