Classic Bars

Taking the Plunge Today,
Sat on a Classic yesterday and found the new bars very comfortable ,
so impressed I ordered a set .
Dealer not sure about cable lengths as classic cables have different part numbers so he ordered them as well.
Already have Rivco Risers which helped the riding position a lot but the new bars i found more suitable ( Personal Taste ) .
Dropping the bike off Today and picking it up friday and will repost again after a trip away this weekend on the beast ( Weather Permitting )

Are you ditching the risers, if so maybe jd will shout them for me!!!

Sorry jd, only joking maybe you need them, maybe classic bars need risers too!!

I fitted the Classic bars to my 05 Grey Rocket and it went just as quick.

You will need the longer throttle cables and the top brake pipe needs to be about 30mm longer to be right.

I didn't stay with the Classic bars and made do with routing the throttle cables behind the headlamp brackets so they were close to the headstock.

I went back to originals as the Classics didn't suit me but I'm stil lnot happy with the original ones either.

Perhaps it's because I'm just a Whingeing Pom !!

I'm 6'4 and didn't like the shoulder stretch with the originals. Installed the Harley Dresser bars, no cable changes and much better reach and look. Will need to use different grips though. Cost about $100 overall.

Well I Picked Her Up Tonight..
My Opinion is ......absolutely fabulous. Im 6 foot 3 and now sit in a very comfortable upright cruiser position , I left the risers on and didnt have to change any cables or brake lines allready rerouted cables for risers .
I love it but might not suit everyone '


Now.... Whats Next????????????????
