Just got a new can put on, washed, waxed and fired it up just to listen to those four cylinders. Still miss the Rocket, it had become part of the family just like so many of you that I had the pleasure of meeting. Just thought I'd check in

BTW, Snuff, we said this before, the rocket is just a way to get to introduce you to the club, once a member, you are part of the family and who cares what you ride,i would consider you my friend even if you rode a scooter!, stick around and keep posting, it dont have to be about rockets, in fact, i cant remember when was the last time i posted something about a motorcycle

The bad thing is that with that fz he can kick your arse, and very easely too

No but all i can tell you is that the fz is a slightly detuned version of the R1, it it is more upright position for long trips but it has 140 hp and does the quarter at low 10s, one of my favorite bikes besides the rocket and the Vmax
 
Would love to ride the Rocket again. The FZ1 is basically a comfy R1, it will go north of 150 in short order.

Snuff, lets go to MV and i will let you ride the rocket all you want if you let me ride the FZ
