changing tires when i get home.

THIS IS A LITTLE WRONG
U SHOULD HAVE THE SHAFT IN IT To align it up but u should tighten the four bolts up before u tighten the axle. it u tighten the axle first then when u tighten the four bolts it will bend the tube. also tighten the four bolts in the order that the manual says.
Bend what tube?

The manual states to run the axle thru to make sure it has alignment. Then it states after it is torqued install the rear wheel. I would not torque the axle nut when using the axle for alignment. Just snug it up a bit. Then torque the final drive bolts. take axle out and install the wheel and torque the axle nut to 110NM

The differential torque and pattern are in the book. Inner upper nut first then follow a cross pattern. First torque to 20 NM then 64NM Now important if you decide to CHANGE THE REAR LUBE. THE DRAIN PLUG ONLY GETS 15 nm THE FILLER PLUG IS 60NM many people break the drain because the mix up the torque specifications between the two.

Let us know how you do with changing the rear tire. You have a machine, or spoons? Ever watch a monkey try to have sex with a football?

I have neither. Trying to decide if i should do it myself or pay a shop to do dismount and mount tires or buy spoons

I just paid $20 to have the dealer change tires and balance my wheel yesterday. No way I want to change a 240 tire and even attempt balancing myself. Didn't even have to remove the brake rotor or ABS ring.

For 20 i may let a dealer do that. May just remove tire so i can polish the wheel. And let dealer do the rest.
